Meet Pamela!

Pamela is one of our fantastic cat room volunteers! She's volunteered in the animal rescue space for over 20 years and been a volunteer with Habitat 4 Paws now for a little over 3 years! She has 5 personal cats, but still finds time to help out the cats who don't have their forever homes just yet.

How did you get involved with Habitat 4 Paws?

I saw a post on Nextdoor looking for volunteers. We had just moved to Dallas and were looking to get involved with an animal rescue. This was a perfect fit for us!

What type of volunteering do you do with Habitat 4 Paws?

I volunteer at the cat room up at PetSmart in Frisco where we place some of our cats while looking for their homes. I help clean the kennels, make sure there is food and water and give the acts playtime outside of the cat condos.

Why do you volunteer?

I love giving back and feeling like I am making a difference to our vulnerable animal population.
