Meet Our Furry Friends
Looking to add a new furry member to your family? Meet our adorable cats and dogs who are eagerly waiting for their forever homes. Each one has a unique story and a lot of love to give.

Kate
Meet Kate! With her striking green eyes and beautifully patterned coat, she stands out wherever she goes. The vet says she's part Bengal and occasionally has the activity level to match. She's a social and curious cat who loves to be where the action is, whether that's stretching out on the couch or watching the world go by from the window. Kate enjoys being around people but also values her independence-she'll keep you company without being overly demanding. She's adaptable, observant, and has great litter box manners. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, curious companion who likes to explore and be part of the household, Kate would be a great fit!

Silver
Hi there! My name is Silver and I am looking for my forever home.I thought I had my forever home for a couple of years, but my previous family had some hardships so they made the painful decision to surrender me back to Habitat 4 Paws.I've been with a great foster family for a few months and I am slowly coming out of my shell.I've been through so much in the last couple of years that I have a hard time trusting and adjusting to new surroundings, but I'll get there! In my foster home, I have a playful cat sibling and a dog who's a little bit afraid of me. In my true forever home, I'd love to have a playful cat sibling (I LOVE KITTENS!) or a small playful dog. I do have one quirk. I drink water by dipping my paw into the bowl and then licking the water off my paw. If you add ice cubes to my water bowl....wow, that's a good time!!I love scratching on my cat tree and exploring the house when it's quiet. At first in my foster home, I wouldn't come out of my hiding spot except at night when the house was quiet. Now, I come out and interact with my foster siblings during the day, too. I love to chase the little red dot laser pointer and that feather on a stick. I'm also the world's best fly catcher! You humans are still a bit scary sometimes, but once in awhile I wind up in a human lap and accept all the love and scratches. I'd do better in a home without a lot of noise, so small kids might not be the best for me. I'll learn to love you people eventually! Can I spend some time at your house? Habitat 4 Paws offers a one week home trial, but I think I may need more time than that to adjust. Talk to the good folks at Habitat 4 Paws and see what y'all can arrange.

Coco (Chi)
Hi my name is Coco and I am sweet little Chihuahua at only 7 pounds. I love playing with my toys or other 4 legged friends, one is even a cat. I love to cuddle and will sit on your lap as long as you will let me. I am so easy going that I love to just sunbathe outside. I do love to go on walks too and am great on the leash. I may bark when we first meet because I get nervous around new people. I think it would be best that we meet at a park for the first time.

Bronco
Hello, let me introduce myself, I am Bronco...middle name Squeakers. I am a handsome boy with an adoring gaze. I am a lab mix, almost 2 years old, about 24 inches tall and weigh about 52 lbs. I've earned both of my names for sure! When I play, I bounce around like a lively Bronco, and I make the cutest squeaking noises when I yawn or whine, which always makes my foster mom look around for the source.I learn fast! I am now potty trained and will wait patiently at the door to be let out, and I know how to use the doggie door. I walk well on a leash, and we go for walks a couple of times a day. I'm also learning not to jump up, and I know how to sit. Treats are my motivation - I'll do anything for a yummy treat!I am very curious about everything around me. Loud noises still startle me, but I'm slowly getting used to them. I am a bit cautious around new people and dogs, but my wonderful foster sister dogs are helping me be brave. I love to play with other dogs. I am also crate trained with a little treat encouragement. I don't have strong opinions about cats yet.I'm looking for a family to love and cherish as much as they will love and cherish me. I am learning to enjoy car rides, I absolutely adore going for walks, and I love laying out in the yard when you're out there with me. My favorite time of the day is when we can snuggle. I can't wait to find my forever home and share all my love and loyalty with you!

Soba
Hi, I'm Soba, a tiny ball of energy wrapped in fur! If it moves, it's a toy. This includes tunnels, other cats tails, and yes, even your feet. I specialize in zoomies, dive-bombing, and turning absolutely everything into a high-speed chase. The phrase "full kitten mode" was basically invented for me. But don't worry, after I burn off my energy, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I'll curl up on your lap, pass out like I just ran a marathon (because I probably did), and sleep like a champ day or night.Kids? Not scared of them. Dogs? Haven't met one yet, but I'm open-minded. Other cats? I don't snuggle them, but their tails make fantastic playthings. We coexist just fine and lay by each other in the same area-no hard feelings!I'm easy to please when it comes to food, and my litter box habits? Purrrfection. So, if you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts wild child and snuggle bug, I'm your girl!

Coco (Terrier)
My name is Coco and wow, am I a sweet girl. Just after I was rescued, we found out I was going to have puppies. My puppies are now finding homes of their own and it's time for me to as well. I'm very shy and timid at first, but will come around on my own time table. I have spent time in three different foster homes to help me overcome my shyness. I seem to be housetrained and crate trained. I love to observe things from a distance when I go to a new place, but will settle in well with a steady routine. You will notice me peeking around the corner at you from time to time and when I'm ready, I will take treats from you and approach gently for some ear scratches and petting. My foster families agree that I really do want your attention and approval, but it just takes me a little longer than most dogs to accept it. When you least expect it, I will grab toys and shake them and play. They all say that it is the cutest thing. I also get along with all other dogs I have met, so I am nicely social in that respect. Finally, small children will probably be overwhelming for me, so I will need a home with adults and older children. Because it might take me a little longer to adjust, my fosters are going to be very selective on where I go because they care for me so much. The perfect person for me is someone who will be patient and loving, and who will also not have high expectations for an immediate bond. That will come in time, I promise. You won't regret investing your time in me.
